​The    Corrective Stretching Program   is a unique blend of stretching and tissue release activities designed to take the pressure off the nerves causing back, sciatic, hip and knee pain. An injury, spasm or repetitive motion will cause the body to thicken the fascia around your muscles and nerve conduits. 

Your sciatic nerve is about the size of your thumb as it weaves its' way from your spine down below your glute muscles. When tissues thicken, pressure increases and pinches this large nerve. The Corrective Stretching Program    will loosen the muscles and tissue putting pressure on your sciatic nerve, reducing the inflammation and letting it relax.
This is designed to be done daily. It is the best way to reverse the problems causing your pain. In order to eliminate your pain we need to activate dormant muscles deep below the abdominal and internal organs. 

These muscles, in conjunction with the abdominals, are responsible for flexing your spine forward. They are postural muscles tasked with holding your hips in proper alignment to the spinal cord. Back Pain has a point of origin.
Few people are born with poor posture. The bones and ligaments of children are highly malleable.    An improper curvature of the spine has to develop. It can begin with an injury, a restriction, or continuous repetitive activity that creates imbalances. Humans are effective at finding the easiest way to function in any situation. Unfortunately, this means without thinking we resist the type of physical stimulation our bodies need to work properly!

Our sedentary lifestyle is hazardous to our health.
When we sit at a desk all day working on a computer, only to come home and sit on the sofa in a similar position, our muscles and bones are going to adjust to that position. The Muscle Retraining Program is designed to reverse this.

Posture dysfunctions result from activities that cause our    bodies adapt to consistent and repetitive pressure.
   
In order to eliminate pain and restore proper function,  weak   muscles must be strengthened and the overly strong muscles must be stretched and relaxed.

 If you utilize this program separately, we recommend adding    Photon light therapy  to relieve acute spasms as they occur.  This will allow you to retrain your muscles and tissue as needed.
